Moores Road Medical Centre opened its doors in 2015 as the most cost-effective medical centre in Monbulk. We have worked extremely hard over the years to provide and maintain an excellent primary care service. We would like to thank all our team for their hard work, and also take this opportunity to thank our patients for their continued support and appreciation for the services that we provide.
Despite our best efforts, continuous increase in running costs and the economical impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the business not being able to survive on Medicare rebates alone.
We have therefore decided to move to a private billing clinic structure, which means that Medicare only covers part of the cost to see the doctors and nurses, there will now be a gap payment that you will need to make after your consult. We will continue to strive to keep our fees lower than the majority of GP clinics in the local area (apart from fully bulk billing clinics).
This increase in fees will allow us to continue to provide a high quality medical service for many more years to come.
Please note, we are still very committed towards our ethos of providing a primary care service that is both affordable and of extremely high quality. We will continue to BULK BILL the children in our community. A full summary of our fee schedule can be found below.

>> Children 19 years and under (Monday – Friday only, fees will apply on Saturdays, as per practice fees table below).
>> All routine repeat prescriptions. Normal fees as per fee schedule will apply if additional issues are discussed.

|Implanon Insertion||Gap fee of $60 applies, in addition to Medicare rebatable fees|
|Implanon Removal||Gap fee of $80 applies, in addition to Medicare rebatable fees|

>> Payment by EFTPOS or credit card will be preferred to cash payments
We can submit your medicare claim at the time of payment and the rebate will be deposited directly into your account by Medicare.
>> You will need an up to date medicare card and have your bank account details registered with Medicare.
If this is not possible, we will provide you with an invoice and a claim for the rebate can be submitted by you directly to Medicare.
Procedures and non-Medicare rebatable services will attract additional fees at all times. The fee schedule above are indicative of what the majority of our Doctors bill at the surgery. Individual Doctors may also bill at slightly different rates. Please discuss this with your Doctor. Further information can also be obtained from our reception staff.
